Fuji XT2 looks like a Pentax K2.

Interesting last sentence, calling out especially K2 and KM for praise - the fully manual, feature-rich KX is the best of the lot IMHO

In 1990 Adorama was selling the A 50/1.2 for $243.95. Adjusted for inflation that is $454.68...But I see them on evilBay for over $700

And what happened to the price of the Olympus XA? Last time I was looking for one you could get one for less than $70, now they are $150-200

For $700 Ricoh should do a new batch run (MIJ!), and XA is a hipster thing ATM - sort of anti-Leica on the UWS in New York - or so says my daughter (she took mine with her last time she came home).

Same thing has happened to the Vivitar 35ES & Canonnet. I guess my plastic fixed-lens rangefinder collecting will have to wait for the film fad to be over. Should be about 10 minutes...

Well, your CD collection looks shiny and costly.
How much did you pay for your bad Moto Guzi?
And how much did you spend on your black leather jacket?
Is it you or your parents in this income tax bracket?

I thought the same. The KM was definitely the high value option, but the KX was only about $50 more and provides a much higher level of functionality. I think they should have simply left out the last sentence.

Surviving examples in good working order are simply becoming hard to come by. I have been thinking that I should get one with battery chamber damage to use as a parts camera in case mine gets cranky.

Steve
But in just the last year or so prices seem to have doubled.
