I recently removed my ME from my bag to find one of the eyelets had broken (I guess I dropped my bag at some point or something.)

Looking at the eyelet, I guess there should be a pin going through it to hold it in place.
I have taken the camera apart to an extent recently to clean up and sort out contacts and that. I have a few old bodies I use or intend to work on and none have sentimental value so I happy to give repairs a try.

Having looked at the service manual, it's a little difficult to tell exactly what I need to remove to get to this, is it just the top and bottom plates? And is it just a pin holding the eyelet in place?
