Another K1000 in the wilds of Australian TV ("Harrow")

The ABC TV (Australia) drama "Harrow" follows a rogue forensics doctor whose world looks to be slowly disintegrating. This weeks' episode dealt with the discovery of the body of a homeless woman who had been carrying a Pentax K1000. The camera was found with the skeleton (in similar condition). Australian TV seems to have K1000s on tap for when a prop is needed.

Oh dear God, not ANOTHER bl00dy Australian drama about a dysfunctional outlier. Such things are as ubiquitous as the K1000 once was, and just as addictive to vacuous hipsters. What is wrong with us as a nation, that we have to celebrate F-d up losers???

Yes. A comment about getting lead on the camera was met by the police photographer with the response that there were probably millions of them out there.

But the word "Pentax" was actually spoken. And you know what they say: "Any publicity is good publicity."

You've completely ignored the alternate genre: happy well-adjusted suburban bogans.

Whenever I’m feeling F-d up, I just repeat my mantra: ‘allow aperture ring or put on A’. 😃
