Here are the Twins. My CP5 and KSX-P

From what I've read, the Sears KS Auto is a re-badged Ricoh XR-2s. Here's my Sears along with a KX:

I don't shoot with my KS Auto, but buying it at a Goodwill store a few years ago was a milestone for me. It was the 50mm lens attached to the camera which marked the beginning of my ascent into LBA lunacy.
And then when they started ther Auction site, we were in real trouble. I now have almost every Ricoh, Chinon, Pentax and Sears manual focus K-mount (actually I have a box full of KR-30sp's, Chinon CP-7m's just in case under the bed now!!)

My experience of the Ricoh XR1 is it's tinny compared with the equivalent Pentax and the meter is now dead, but it came with the amazing Rikenon 50 1.7. Those early Ricohs bought second hand for almost nothing are a great way to expand the nifty 50 collection.

Gateway drug

Yes, the Sears KS auto is a Ricoh XR-2s.

Further the Sears KS 1000 is a Ricoh XR-1s.

I have owned them all and can verify this.
The Sears were my first K-mount bodies.

Sears models and Ricoh Models
KS Super and Super II were XR-6's minus 1/1000th-----Ricoh/Sears answer to the ME
KSX Super is a KR-10 Super /XR-10-----Ricoh/Sears equilivant to the ME Super
KS-2 is a XR-7- The above with a multi-exposure button added

The KSX-P was an odd ball as it is a Chinon CP-5 Chinon/Sears Equilivant to Ricoh XR-P and Pentax Super Program

Ricoh also had a few odd ball model numbers in its own line up. Instead of a KR-10 my identical camera is a Ricoh A-100, An XR-2 without Mult-Exposure
What was sold in the us as the KR-30p, was sold elsewere as XR-20p....These two models were the equilivent in the line up to the Pentax Program Plus

Yeah that would be awesome to see, would be great to see a list of all the known 3rd party brands, even the odd-ball ones, that released kmount bodies on one site instead of trying to dig through google/random sites to get questionable info on a specific body.

Added 10 so far, which I forgot to add photos on 2.

Spec wise I've been going off what's in the manuals, so I'm sure they're ~95% accurate on the one's I've put up so far, but I'm sure whatever's missing/inaccurate is probably in the manual & I'm sure missed it or didn't read it right/wasn't 100% sure on it.Though in a couple cases, it didn't show the specific battery the camera takes (e.g LR44/SR44), so had to google it, in which case may or may not be right.

Though for some reason I can't seem to go back & edit the info.

How many of these are some white-labeled Chinon model, I wonder.

Looking at some of the well known 3rd party (eg Vivitar) & no-named cameras, a good amount of them seem to be rebadged Cosina & Chinon cameras, with various spec tweaks & different body styles to them.
