I had a Zorki 4K with a film advance so rough (and sharp), it sliced my thumb up in just 4 frames. I still have the camera somewhere, still probably has that film on waiting for frame 5.
My usual gotcha, is popping the back before rewinding - a reflex action to snap it shut saves many frames.
