Please help with repair of K2 DMD

Hi, couple weeks ago I got cheap K2 DMD declared as non-working and decided to investigate and try to repair it. Mostly the issue was mangled bottom cover, bent out of shape, with motor drive disk/cover slid and stuck underneath. After fixing that I manage to get it working and firing mostly fine. Electrically there seems to be no issues, as well as good working of shutter. One other notable feature is that aperture window has red filter in it, but the aperture is still visible, not sure if that's standard.

Now the problem remain that sometimes the mechanism gets stuck when winding next frame. There's one part which seems to affect this motion and has a little spring which I can't find where it should rest correctly, see the photos: Pentax K2 DMD bottom mechanism - Album on Imgur
It's the one one bottom (first picture), or left (second picture) with the darker, brown washer. One end of the spring goes almost out of the body which seems suspicious to me. The shiny part under on the same pin is what I believe causes the lock ups. I tried to look up any images and service manuals I could find but I'm not any wiser how it should be seated properly and if it's only case of old age and lack of lubrication causing this motion not complete full cycle sometimes.

If you can post photo under bottom cover of this area in your K2 DMD or simple K2 (I assume it's the same), I would be really grateful.

I don't have a K2 to hand but I do have a few pictures of under the base plate, though they were shot on film. Not sure they'll be much help but just in case, you can find them in here: https://www.flickr.com/photos/69424694@N06/albums/72157644302612010

That helps, thanks a lot. I'll investigate it tomorrow, it does seem to be wrong in my camera. This photo is mirrored which threw me off for a moment IMGP1703 -1a | Scanned with K200D and DA 35mm macro | Jonathan MacDonald | Flickr Cool to use film photos to repair film camera.

The red aperture window is supposed to indicate exposure compensation is being used.

I see, that's cool feature. That explains the top metal bit sticking under the window. I moved the compensation ring and it goes away a bit (sometimes more, sometimes less) in the normal position but doesn't clear it completely. Another thing to fix but that should be easier.
