How high is the ISO?, but considering its dark its a good attempt

Good photo. You probably have figured out the night-photo choices: make em brighter than real, or keep em dark. Scanners by default make em brighter, and accentuate the grain.

I like that, gives it a surreal quality. I also appreciate the sky, deepening into stars. Oh and Shasta looming in the back! What time of night did you take this?

about 2 am, the night before actual full moon. I didn't drive up to Mt. Shasta city till after dark, so I didn't realize there were fires to the north. When taking this shot I could barley make out the mountain. I was very irritated since I'd have to wait another month for full moon again. Didn't think you'd even be able to make out details, but I like the result. Smoke turns the mountain purple.

Boy does this bring back memories. Spent many a day as a kid running around the hills of Oak Run looking at Lassen to my right and Shasta to my left.
