Incredible job!
I'm in the exact same boat, my K1000 that I picked up for $10 on the local classifieds is in much the same dirty and forgotten state.
In the process of cleaning and fixing. This thread helps a lot. I have a sticking mirror also, hoping cleaning out and then a drop of oil should do the trick there.
Go old pentaxs, go!
