Beautiful black KX from a fellow forum member

Hello,

Fellow forum member Edgar (e_nogueras) is accusing me of getting him the film fever bug.
I'm GUILTY as charged!
He just acquired this beautiful black KX in pristine condition. He brought it to me for a quick check and my "blessing". I was about to tell him "It's not working and these are radioactive and dangerous. I'll dispose of it"

Beautiful example on both cosmetics and function. Everything works properly. So I took it to my workbench for a deep clean job.

He also bought a beautiful copy of the A35-105 f3.5

A roll of Kodak Ultra 400 was loaded and it has been released into the wild!

I forgot to take a family picture with my chrome KX. Oh well, good excuse for another encounter.

Thanks,

It looks gorgeous. There is very tiny little brassing spot in front of the counter dial and on the top edges of the prism. But you have to look hard for it. The baseplate has some minor scratches but no brassing.

Thanks,

Indeed a "bad influence" that "infected" me with the film fever. (Joking aside)... Ismael shared his knowledge & experience with me and because of his advice, I was lucky enough to get my hands on pristine copies of a KX and a 35-105mm f3.5 lens. Ismael, thank you for opening the doors to your house, for making the camera and lens look like new and for even teaching me how to put a 35mm roll on the camera. Hopefully that first roll turns out to be properly exposed and in-focus... Thanks again my friend!

Welcome to the club!!!
The ultimate text of a KX is to see through the "JUdas Window"
If you can see the aperture number of your lens in the little window on the top you are in great shape!
