Pentax MX Shutter Release Replacement

I have an MX with a missing shutter release and locking lever...the whole piece. I have yet to locate an MX parts only camera or just the replacement pieces. Does anyone know if the shutter release and locking lever from other Pentax models are compatible?

Pretty sure that the MX piece is unique to that model. Eric Hendrickson (Home-Pentaxs) would be the person to do the repair, and he likely has a supply of parts.
