My S series (SV and S1a, Honeywell varieties) bodies are the ones I just sit with most in the livingroom, sans film, just shooting, advancing, focusing... shooting, advancing, focusing.
The most satisfying cameras to handle of them all as far as I'm concerned.

I agree. The handling and haptics of my SV are easily the most pleasurable of any of my SLR camera bodies, including the lightweight compact models from the early 1980s. There is something about the wind-on and balance. Why contemporary Spotmatic models lack that charm is a puzzle.*
