Well my fingers are crossed for a relaunch of BW400CN. I used that a great deal in my older cameras with less reliable shutter speeds...

Still need to go buy some Ektachrome. Sounds like they've had a really rough year on the supply chain side due to covid.

As would I, but I can't see consumer demand supporting it at the moment. At least, not in the quantities that Kodak would need to make production of them worthwhile.

My guess is that it will be something that can be sold to amateur/independent filmmakers as well; similar to how E100 was available in 16mm & Super 8 formats at launch.

The only thing which would REALLY excite me would be a re-introduction of Kodachrome and some processing plants. Kodachrome was such a unique film with unique qualities that no other film shared. I can only dream......................

Perhaps a 120 version of P3200? With the only viable option in that genre being Delta 3200 (which I use), I would still prefer P3200 if it was available in that size.

An 800 ISO version of Gold? BW400CN seems like it would score well, folks seem to really miss that film.

Still can't quite believe it's gone. Would love to see it come back.

Sadly, I'm pretty sure that's not going to happen. I used Kodachrome 64 for 30 years (when I could afford it) but the costs to restart it would be prohibitive.

I would hope for a relaunch of the Plus-X Pan 125, really like that film, used it a lot years ago. various papers, some on warm tone paper and some selenium tone and fibre.

Thanks for that video link.
I'd like to give that Jobo CEO an ear-full on wtf is up with the Jobo CPP3. It's a step backwards not forward in design, quality and value.

That would be my dream as well having a new version of Kodachrome 64 or even 25. It's the chemicals and unique processing that would be the issue and Kodak would need to do the processing as well or have someplace like Dwayne's Photo take care of it.

One can always hope though..

Phil.
