Bought a "Near Mint" Asahi Pentax KX

Hey brothers and sisters! so excited! I just ordered a near mint KX today!

I have attached some images of her!!

I never really enjoyed an Asahi Pentax analogue experience since my K1000 has an issue that I cannot figure out (probably a stuck sticky mirror) so I never saw developed images from her.
Then I have my MZ-S and my 645 but they are both very different than an original analogue SLR

She will require a Light-seal replacement kit though. I found one on eBay.

Any thoughts???

Looks good, my all time Pentax favourite! Add a K55/1.8 and you have the perfect kit.

I have 2 analogue primes, 50mm f2 and a 28mm f 2.8 and then my sigma 70-300 with its aperture ring will work great too! I can't wait!

Great looking camera. I've always wanted a KX. It's hard to find black ones in that good condition. Congrats!

Nice! I always wanted one. In black. Like it much more than my black MX.

I thought I scored one from Samy's Camera, but they shipped me a KX digital camera!

she was not cheap for her condition ahaha but I didn't want to invest in something that had lots of mileage so I paid the price hahaha

that's messed up hahah! In searches you have to specify that you want the Asahi KX. I kept reading the wrong reviews hahah

The KX is a great camera, excellent ergonomics and usability

Nice KX! As noted above, the Pentax-K 55mm f/1.8 is a nice match and a much better lens than your any of the Pentax 50mm f/2.0 versions.

Fortunately, it is a simple adjustment while doing a CLA.

Not only did it say film camera in their ad, they also had a photo of a black film KX! I was sooooo bummed when I opened the package to reveal a digicam!
