I cant imagine someone needing to purchase that many in one lot... why would they be selling them this way? they might even make more money by splitting them and selling individually.

First...why in a big lot? lol who needs 10+ cameras at one time?

Second...for $125, they had better be mint...aka...looking like they were just taken out of the box.

Third...how did he get 30+ MINT ones?

I'd rather buy 3 to 4 mint condition LX w/ that amount of dollars

oh now this is EPIC. look at his description 'Entry Professional Film Camera', 'as far as I'm told they were Pentax's flagship signature camera for some 30 years.' & 'Very rare to find in this condition.' excuse me, but what?! it only had a product run of 21 years. and when did it become flagship? there is a nearly new in box K1000 from the late seventies on ebay right now.... oh boy, ebay sellers never ceases to amaze me. man how did you find this? and I thought the 499 USD Takumar 135 3.5 was ridiculous....

That's where they came from, I'll bet. And that's where the seller implies they could go.

Film photo courses are being dumped all over the US. I've bought a lot of cameras and darkroom gear from schools closing their photography classes.

You hit it on the head. Not to mention this was probably one of those China-made K1000s with parts replaced by plastic (hence the lighter feel and the lack of the AOCo logo) - and he even tries to pass it off as a plus...

Most probably so. But that $125 price isn't too bad. At least, it's worlds better than the new $3000 K1000 body-only(!).

If I sell my K1000, I'm torn between putting it up for sale in the Marketplace, where it would go to a good home, or flogging it some sucker on Deviant Art.
