You hit it on the head. Not to mention this was probably one of those China-made K1000s with parts replaced by plastic (hence the lighter feel and the lack of the AOCo logo) - and he even tries to pass it off as a plus...

Most probably so. But that $125 price isn't too bad. At least, it's worlds better than the new $3000 K1000 body-only(!).
