Ì think it is an older logo of Sears, Roebuck and Co., referring to the founders of what became Sears department stores. You should read it as ” S R ” , you can recognise the letters in the logo.
The store probably sold both the cameras and ironware (porcelain) under own logo, and many other things ( I found guitars and bikes with the logo...), so it is rather a sellers logo....than a makers logo.
