The only issue I've had - and I haven't done my own scanning to validate this - is that on both the ES-II and the Program Plus, with different lenses, the Ektar exposures tend to blow out highlights on flower shots.

Have you tried a polarizer for that problem?

BTW, that second shot - the concrete mixer - looks way more contrasty than the first. Could be the different lens maybe?
