Fujica Bayonet mount camera question

Found a Bayonet Fujica STX-1N with a few lenses, Is this the same mount as regular Pentax K mount? Can I use Fujica Lens on a Pentax? thanx

Pentax register distance = 45.46mm

Fuji X = 43.5mm

So no...the mount is not the same. Even if they were physically, you would not get infinity focus since the X mount is closer to the film plane.

Fujica ST mount lenses can be used via the M42 adapter...but only wide open unless you modify the aperture pin.

you can mount fujica ST lens on pentax, only you'll have some minor problems dismounting it.
i tried it once, hopefuly, there was pentax rep nearby, it took him good 10 minutes of fiddling and a little bit of forcing to unmount it. no damage to body (MX) nor lens (50/1.9).

But there are some nice older Fuji cameras that use screwmount lenses. I bought my brother an ST605n to replace his first camera which was stolen. It was fun to test it out because I got to use Takumars on an actual screw mount camera. The top shutter speed was an odd 1/700s, not ideal for fast lenses that only stop down to f16, ISO400 and tropical sun. Later models go to 1/1000 like you'd expect. The "kit" lens was a 55mm f2.2 that apparently even the Fuji fans aren't excited about. Fuji EBC lenses attract bidders like flies on eBay, but I don't think they're that much better than Takumars.

Thanx all. I ask this because their lenses are very cheap.

For using screw lenses, I'd recommend the ST801. I'm using my dad's bought in 1977.

1/2000 top speed, LED meter, open metering with ST lenses, ISO from 25-3200, split prism focus screen. Almost a pro-level body, feature-wise.

As for X lenses...it may be possible to put a K mount on them. Although I'm not sure anyone has ever tried since they will not reach infinity. But that would not be a problem with a lens like an f/1.2
