Can't help but wonder what that fellow has in mind for that ample-breasted decapitated manikin. Good catch, Bonner04!

I'll also take some thoughts on a way to get a good scan of this image, I have a client that wants to buy a pretty big print (20x30!)

Scanning options for a print to sell? - PentaxForums.com

I'm thinking about getting a macro and copy stand as I want to figure this out for the future, but so as not to interrupt the discussion here please respond over there. Thanks!

I recognize that Gold Dredge ! Got a few snapshots of it with my MZ-S, too
The Lady there at the dredge (owner?) spotted me and my cameras and came over to talk. Probably wanted to see what kind of Nut carries two cameras around fer crying out loud!
Chatted with her a bit about shooting film in the Digital Age. She was very nice and friendly.

We really enjoyed our visit to Fairbanks last year.
We talked with the fellow at the Ice Museum for nearly 1/2 hour. He almost had us talked into coming back for the Ice Sculpture Fair. BURR !!

20x30 is pretty big for 35mm, but doable if you aren't expecting razor sharp resolution while viewing it from 6 inches.
A large print like that you can get away with 100-150 ppi print resolution.
A good 3200dpi scan will probably be sufficient. If you can do a 1:1 macro of the negative using a 16mp dslr, that would do it.

That K-30 of his is a 16mp DSLR. A 50-55mm macro might be the best if he tries to do it himself. I've heard of a recent 40mm macro and a slide holder that Nikon is offering these days that's perfect for APS-C cameras, but I don't know if Pentax has anything like this. I responded to skierd's post in the other thread with my recommendations.
