| Easter Color Shift
I had a roll of Fuji 800 Press that expired years ago that I was using to test an Argus C4. The Argus has issues... more about that later... So I reloaded the film into my Petri Color 35 and shot the rest there... It has epically shifted, color-wise, and I think my guess of 200 ISO was probably about right... I keep promising myself to use various old film cameras which lack a meter. I am usually pretty decent at estimating exposure, but I do like a bit of confirmation especially now film has got a lot more expensive. I do not want to always carry a separate meter around. So, I have found a Johnson Exposure Calculator, which will easily fit into a wallet, complete with original instructions and packaging for just £11. Initial experiments suggest it's actually pretty accurate (if slow!). I have no excuse not to use them now. | |
