It's an excellent scanner, finally scanning flat ! The learning curve of SilverFast is steep but the result is there when you master it

The transformer fried the mainboard exactly 2 years (warranty in Europe) after, so I had to send it back and paying only 250 euros for the replacement and it came back one week after sending it...

It sounds like you're confirming the quality of it.

I just recently bought a K-1, so I'm going to put off the decision on a negative scanner for a little while - I don't have so many negatives, but I do like the idea of shooting film, so....

How are you finding the Gold 200 in 120? I've finished my second roll and a second is in the 124G but not gotten anything processed or scanned yet.
