This comes from a place of ignorance(since I'm new to photography) but what aperture did you use for the 10 min exposure. I assume the biggest you had?

Until I did it, I too was unaware!
I recall I had it at f11. The 10 second shot was taken with still a little daylight left while the 10 minute was a little after dark. You'll notice the lights on the pier are now on in the 10 minute shot.
You're right that I could have set a smaller aperture which would've extended the duration even more which of course the LX could have done.

From all my acquisitions, I must have dozens of ND filters that I have yet to use. Gonna have to break those out and try some long daytime exposures.

Never used one. Had a LPL that clipped off a good two stops when pointed the right way.
