Very nice indeed.

How do you find focusing manually on the Z1p? I think I've only used AF lenses on my Z1s.

The Z-1p was my most used camera from 1994 until I switched to digital in 2007 (followed by the LX as my second body when I needed one). I used it with manual focus almost all of the time because I did not trust the AF and found the grid screen I had mounted quite appropriate for the task. Recently, however, it seems to have developed a minor amount of front-focusing (again with MF).

Are my eyes deceiving me, or is the middle of Tasmania permanently frosted, as it appears in your wonderful photos?

Haha no, this was pre-dawn during a rather cold mid-winter snap in the high country. The frost was gone by mid-morning

Seattle FilmWorks, shot and developed ca. 1985-6 with some fading evident. I will be posting more shots in due course.
