Some shots from my first roll of Cinestill 800T. Metered at 640iso and for those interested I didn't use a filter for the daylight shot. It definitely throws out some peculiar colours when used like this in daylight, and the halation is very visible in the right/wrong conditions (Cinestill makes no bones about this) but overall I enjoyed shooting the 800T. I'll definitely picking up some more for my next film order

M2 and 50mm Summilux pre-asph (which is for sale if anyone is interested)

V550 scans

To give an idea of the film's exposure latitude, this was shot at f1.4 and 1/1000" - probably 3-4 stops overexposed for the car (more for the highlights)

Following on from the above post - a good example of where the halation can lend a lot of charm to a photo...

Impressive. I like the look of this film and I think there's finally a local supplier that can get some for me, but it's pretty expensive.

I have the last roll of mine (the old Lomography Colour Negative 100 which I'm fairly certain is the same stuff) in my EOS 30 at the moment. It's a really nice film and I hope if/when Lomography get back on their feet they resume production of it, or something based on the old formula.

I remember that many were convinced that was Solaris, but I dont' think the newer stuff is/was (though from what I've seen the older rolls did look like it to me as well). I've gone through a few rolls of it (the newer, e.g. in the last year or two) and definitely not the same color palette. It was good looking... or rather some it was. I had really mixed results between rolls and finally stopped buying it.

Older Lomography Color Negative 100 is Solaris, yeah. (The newer/current stuff is a Kodak emulsion of some sort.)

However, I think you guys are bored by my motorbikes, so I decided to change subject...casual street photography:

Canon F1 AE, FD50mm f1.4, Portra 160.
