Fair enough. Here are a couple of shots from the "ruined" SL35, taken about ~10-years after its salt-water dunking:
Make no mistake - that's an impressive survival. I just meant that loosing the lens and electronics, were it an automobile, the next buyer would have had a salvage title.
Glad its still out snapping photo nonetheless.

It was decommissioned ~12-years ago, after the film advance seized up for the nth time (and seemed to happen with increasing frequency), and I had a budding collection of m42 lenses so I decided to go 'native' after a friend mentioned he had a spotmatic he could sell me (which I used up until last fall, when a strap lug wore through). The rollei never had a proper cla, just a few drops of WD-40 on the gears. Its probably got some salvageable parts, and a functioning xenon 50 1.8.

Awilda and Irma

Sculptures by Jaume Plensa, landscape artist. Cheekwood Botanical Gardens Nashville, Tennessee.
Pentax K1000 with Pentax-M 50mm 1.7, Kentmere 400 developed in HC110. Scanned with Pakon 135+.

I was really pleased with this shot as it came out a lot more dynamically than I thought it would have.

Thanks! I was pleasantly surprised how it turned out. Almost like it's a digital graphic and not a photograph. I also shot it with my K-5ii in color and it looks wild. But I prefer the b&w image.

I like this, and especially as B&W. The reflection is like a window through all that tangle. the geometries are very interesting, mostly vertical, but also not and just as interestingly so.
