I know I'll miss your 400H shots when the film is gone. I imagine you'll miss the film too.

That's very kind, thank you!

This was actually from a few leftover shots on a roll for a client.
I have about 10 rolls of 120 and 4 135 left. After that I'll be missing it. Maybe try some Superia again?

I don't think I've tried Lomo colour negative 400 so I was thinking of getting some whenever my other colour 400 supplies run out (I've no idea how much I have). I don't know where it's made or by whom, could be superia for all I know.

Recently I've been buying film cameras that go to 1/8000s and they allow me to use ISO 400 films in full sunlight at the apertures I want so just when 400 speed films become more useful for me one of my favourites disappears.

I've never shot any lomo film I'm afraid. Post some stuff when you get around to shooting it!
Portra 400/800 is usually my go to, but it's getting quite expensive and I actually want to shoot more, not less.

1/8000 is awesome. I'm always amazed that the Z-1 has a higher maximum shutter speed than some current digital mid-range models.
I'd love to get the MZ-S again though. At 1/6000 it's fast enough when using a forgiving film like Portra I think.

Ha. I like using the 400 speed films because I can use cameras with slow lenses on not so sunny days at shutter speeds I want

I've used the Lomo 100 in 120, and it's pretty good. It's not as sharp as Ektar, but I like the color I get from my local lab. For some reason, they really have it dialed in.

This is neither Lomo nor 400, but it is a horse in a birdhouse...
I think it does a good job of showing how the Yashica does bokeh...

Yashica Electro MC; Fuji 200; local lab develop and scan

"Frosty Leaves" an undated photo, scanned from slide film - probably taken on an SPII, but uncertain

From January 2011... I probably shared this photo back when I took it, but I found the original scan yesterday and decided to re-edit it.
