Really nice color. Do you do many/any adjustments in post?
After scanning I usually make adjustments to Levels and Tone Curve to set color and overall contrast/brightness. My scanning method yields a fairly flat scan that requires adjustments to Levels and Tone Curve to get the right image.

Some time ago we had some rare snowfall in the Netherlands. While it still was snowing a bit, I took out the Hasselblad 500c/m with the 150mm lens.

camera: Hasselblad 500 c/m
Lens: Sonnar 150/4
Film: Ilford ortho 80

Interesting! I read your article several years ago, and use the basic premise in my own v600 scans with the Epson software. My post is pretty elaborate, though, involving stacks of masked layers in various transfer modes to isolate adjustments to colour balance, contrast, etc.

A couple recent Ektachrome macro shots.

I did a double-take when I saw that the second frame was 135 film and not medium format. That's an incredibly clean, detailed, and coloured shot to get from small format.

Velvia isn't negative film... it's positive film, just like the 50D only with a lot more color punch...

That said, it looks great like this... it has all the old-timey look you've been doing with the 50D with much better color...
