Cool! A 1:1 Gundam! While I build automotive models, my oldest built these. They are simply amazing with their fully articulated joints. The finger and thumb joints blow me away with the engineering that went into them.

It's all fun and games until one of those rocket clusters misses the Kaiju and hits your hotel

I had one of the Valkyrie models from Macross as a kid.
The fact that I was able to put something together that then actually transformed from a robot to a plane and back was impressive.
The engineering, not the modeling skill...

I think the tourists playing life-size Mario Kart on the roads of Tokyo was probably one of the most WTF moments I've ever experienced...
