should I pay that much for an ME super?

I have had 4 or 5 ME Supers pass through my hand over the past year...and two were in working condition. Whatever you get, you should budget for a CLA.

Forget Henry's, I was just there and they were selling K1000's for just under $300 CDN. All their used equipment is way over priced. The only advantage is that you can go there and touch the item and see what kind of shape it's in.

That's a lot of scratch for a K1000. I was thinking that some of Henry's listings on ebay looked pretty reasonable. I got an LX from them in fair but working condition for $159 this past spring on eekbay. Got it CLA'd & now I have a really good, reasonable user.

In USA Pentax fans are fortunate to have Eric Hendrickson, who makes these old cameras like new!
