Nikon sb-50dx blown out by ME Super?

So i have a Nikon SB-50dx Flash that I use for my dslr and i dont want to buy another flash for my ME Super. If i use this flash on the pentax is there a possibility that it could short circuit or otherwise harm my flash? I wouldnt want that

Other way around: older flashes with high voltage will fry the sync circuit of a DSLR. Your ME has a couple of button cells in it, it won't do anything to the Nikon.
