Another body ...a MX

I have a chance to get a MX and standard M 50mm f/2 for just over $100 Cdn. The owner says both body and lens is in excellent condition. I only thought LBA existed, this is not fair.

...I have a couple of hours to decide, hmm. Opinions?

If the camera is in good working condition, the price is fair. Prices for MX camras vary from $50 to as much as $250 depends on their condition and service history.

if you don't mind setting the shutter speed all the time, i would say go for it

It's probably too late now for advise but I have three of them. I think well enough of the MX that on their eighth birthday, my currently 6 and 4 year old grandson's will each receive one of mine. (The granddaughter, unless she wants an MX, will get a mint black ME).

Thanks for all the replies. I didn't go for it and the extra cash I have for the moment will be better spent on film and developing.
