Here are the very first images produced by my newly acquired Pentax ES (and the first film I have ever used).
Film Scans - a set on Flickr
I would have uploaded them here, but I am in a bit of a rush…
Lens used: All shots were taken with the Takumar SMC 50mm 1.4
Film used: Cheepo Fujicolor 200
Camera exposure mode: All shots with Automatic shutter speed. No exposure compensation.
Film development: By Ritz camera (yea, we still have one).
Scanned negatives: I used an HP Scanjet 8300. I intended to scan at 2400 dpi, but my system didn’t have enough memory. So I scanned at 600dpi and upscaled 600%. This gave me 50.74mb 8.5x5.66 images. No other image correction done with the scanner.
Files were then imported to Photoshop, corrected to my liking and saved for the web at 720x480.
Soon I’ll do some tests with exposure compensation and using fill flash from an auto stobonar.
