Hi all,

I apologize if this is a frequent topic. I've dabbled searching here and elsewhere and can't find my exact problem.

Anyway, I have a ME Super. Just shot a roll of film...flipped up the rewind lever, pushed in the rewind button(holding it down) and turned the crank normal until the film was in the cartridge. Let go of the rewind button, popped the back, removed the film. I was getting ready to load new film and i discovered that the rewind button is still down and stuck. I have done nothing further than try pushing it down and letting it pop back up with a paperclip. No success and very frustrating.

How do i release this button?

It pops down when you start winding.

Thanks much for the advice. It worked. I feel stupid though becuase previously that wouldnt work(i think) but i rotated the film takeup spool a bit just to see if that would free anything up. Then tried film advance lever and it worked. Hmm. I didn't want to force anything so i didn't try much.
