IS there a fuji film that has similar tonal range/greyscale to Ilford FP4+?

I don't know, but I would guess, if you're talking about films with similar speed... No? (This from someone who's never used the FP4 plus, only the old version, some long time ago. ) But I tend to think the Neopan Acros, which I have used some, is overall about as far from that 'personality' as you might get. Nice stuff, though. Haven't really gotten it to sing for me, yet, admittedly, but it takes me *forever* to go through slow film these days, and I barked up the wrong tree developerwise for a lot of my experience with that Acros. I really like the 400, though.

You might ask on rangefinderforums or APUG, though: these sites have an unfortunate tendency to choke my old computer, but I think the folks there have tried just about everything in every combination.

Acros is a modern T-grain emulsion.
I prefer the more old-fashioned look of Neopan SS (100).
B&H sells it.

The short answer is NO
However, if you want to experience a whole new level of beauty try Neopan 400 developed in Ilford DDX
The tones are creamier and the grain smoother than Fp4+

Acros is also a fantastic film, but completely different than FP4
