The manual mode sucks though, imho

It's really an Av body. If you want M mode you're better off with cameras with shutter dials.

It doesn't suck as bad in M mode as the K-series do in the Tv mode though.

Edit: Only the K2 has an Av mode. However, for a 1/2000 shutter speed etc., that leaves the LX.
