For the LX and its alternatives discussed in this thread, there are Pentax 100mm f2.8 and 105mm f2.8 options out there. I think with the APS-C sensors at the moment, Pentax figures the DA 70mm and FA77mm have this area covered not to Mention the DA* 55mm. They seem to be pushing the zooms to me.

Nikon has a 105/1.8 which is glorious. It would be interesting to see a 100ish 1.6 or something.
