Good deal?

I'm normally a digital shooter, but I've turned to Pentax K-Mount in a big way. Anyway, I just bought the following package:

Z-70 body
Pentax-f 50mm f/1.7
Vivitar 28mm f/2.8
Vivitar 70-210 f/4.5-5.6
Takumar-A 28-80 f/3.5-4.5
Matched 2x converter

Came with bag, manuals, filters, caps etc. Everything clean and free of fungus. I paid $100CDN (£93USD)

The question is, as this was up on Craigslist for weeks, slowly coming down in price. Did I get a good deal, or is there really no demand for Pentax stuff anymore, outside of eBay? It seems that if this was Canon or Nikon (Even FD mount or non-AI Nikon) this would have been snapped up weeks ago....

The used 50mm lens alone normally sells for more than you paid for the entire package.

Not really... I could buy everything from you for US $99...
Joke aside, you did splendidly.

Thanks for the thumbs up guys, now I'll point my wife to this thread!

Craigslist Vancouver seems to be a haven for Pentaxians. I got a Kiron 70-210 f/4 for $40 a couple of weeks back... not that anybody I know has even HEARD of Kiron, of course!

Thanks!

Keep an eye on Craigslist - thee are deals out there to be had if you're diligent.

Now I need to find someone willing to trade the AF body for an old school mechanical beast. Seriously, I can't get on with auto-drive, displays and autofocus.

I don't know the PZ-70 is actually pretty nice. You can slap a DA lens on there and shoot in Av mode, plus you can use M and K lenses without trouble....

True, it's a nice body for sure. The DA Av compatibility should be really useful for digital shooters as a second body and the shutter is really quiet which is good for wildlife shots. The viewfinder display is clear and precise.

Trouble is, I don't need any of that! I shoot film for the tactile feel of it, I'd prefer a body of metal or chrome... k-series of course... I'd consider 3rd party like Ricoh or Zenit as they were tanks

I'll probably put it up on the marketplace to see if I get any bites in the Vancouver area!
