pentax ILX problam with slow shutter

hello

i hope some one can answer this.

i have an old ILX film and on the shutter speed roll when i go under the X setting (meaning slow speed 1/60,1/15 etc..) and press the shutter the mirror will only come back up when i move the roll again to the X setting.

Hi Shai, the correct name is LX. The font adopted for the name seems like I and L but indeed it's LX. Your problem has to do with batteries. From X to 2000 the LX shutter is mechanically controlled while from 60 down to 4 S or longer it is electronically controlled. Put a pair of fresh SR-44 to test it.
