How could I resist?

Since the Royal Canadian Mounted Police no longer shoot film I was somehow offered some of their old stock.
Partly because I was wondering what they shot I accepted it, and was almost surprised when I was handed 10 rolls of 12 exposure, Kodak Gold 200.

Yes, it's outdated. However the price was right and I'm told that it's been stored right, so it should be fine.

It sounds like a friend of mine has a box of cameras in storage for me (he's selling his house, and won't have the room) so this film might be coming at the perfect time... for some testing

I'm starting to realize.... The best thing about digital is some people can't wait to get rid of their film products.
Now if only someone would pass me a Pentax 6x7, and some darkroom equipment

Sounds like a nice deal, Stu.
I've used this film and it doesn't do too badly.
Look forward to seeing your results from them...

Thanks Ash
I've tried the film before as well. It's usually my first choice when testing a new (to me) camera.
I shot off a 24 exposure roll of it today... kind of. I had my new to me Pentax Zoom-90 WR set up on a tripod... shooting a flower in 20 minute intervals, while I was at work.
Although the shots might all look the same I'm hoping that the flower opened up and followed the sun.
I'll find out in a couple of days, when back at work in the lab.

Trust me, it's tempting. However my wallet says I have to behave for a while
