The ME F can use the ME II Winder. The only way it can AF is with the AF 35-70mm f2.8. Other than that, it is like using an ME Super. This is actually a nice body with a nice viewfinder. I have a copy I had reworked by Eric H. However, I wouldn't recommend it to someone for an AF body. I would recommend it to someone interested in a body like the ME Super.
Such a wonderful novelty at the time, though.
I believe you also get focus assist with manually-driven lenses, though? (ie, you turn lens ring and AF system shows you LEDs? )
Not the same, though, no.
Interestingly, btw, when I put my OME-53 magnifier on this MZ-5 I'm trying, you actually get a full finder view (of what coverage there is) that's pretty nice. Works so nice, in fact, that I suspect this is *actually* what it was made for.
