MZ-S Cable/Timer switch?

Hi there knowledgeable Pentax Forums members,

I recently purchased an MZ-S and so far I am really enjoying this camera. However, I have searched high and low for either the cs-105/cs-130 cable switch or the much coveted TS-110 timer switch to no avail.

The problem seems to be the oddball connector used for this camera (and the 645nii) only. It appears to be a "mini xlr" (also known as "Tini Q-G") connector type. There seems to be a multitude of variations among this connector family. Can somebody help me out with the correct part number and where I can order it so I might splice it onto the end of a generic timer switch in place of the tip ring sleeve stereo style plug that seems to be the standard now?

Thank you so much for any help that all of you can offer.
Sincerely,
Christopher A Kirk

Sorry to jump in on your thread, I came across this thread searching for some info on the TS-110.

I too have an MZ-S as well as the 'coveted TS-110' but alas a couple of weeks back the end of that oddball connector came off mine whilst out in the field, never to be seen again I have asked around all the usual places here in the UK to see if it is possible to repair but to know avail.

Would be really interested to know if you are able to order that particular part from anywhere.

As it stands at the moment I am considering putting a more standard connection on it to use with other cameras in the future.

Good luck with your search, I will let you know if I have any luck.

Ah..old thread but a new issue for me!

I've been looking in the DigiKey Catalog, maybe I will find it and post here.

I'm thinking it's not a Mini XLR or Tini QG

I know.... resurrecting a dead thread.
Has anyone figured out the part number of the connector?
Since I now have a TS-110, I want to use on K3 and MZ-S so will not cut the existing connector off.
Yes, I know there are 3rd party timers available.

Thanks,
