Pentax SP1000 - Need help

Hi All,

I have a Pentax SP1000 camera. I have taken hundreds of great pictures of my family and nature. However, i could not get the battery for my camera in india. So i did not use that camera for some years now.

Now when i see through the viewfinder i find a black horizontal I am concerned about this line and would like to know how to get the camera serviced.

Also i would like to know the battery number for this camera or if there is an adapter that i can use with another battery.

Would appreciate any help in this matter.

See here for the batteries you'd need: WeinCell Batteries

The horizontal line is probably a hair or other debris. Try dismounting the lens and blowing it away.
