Pentax repair by Eric Hendrickson

Many of us here owe a great debt to expert repairman Eric Hendickson, who keeps our Pentax cameras humming along.

Eric has repaired/CLA'ed most of my Pentax cameras past and present, currently including LX, K2, KX, KM and MX bodies.
I'm planning to send him two more recent acquisitions, a DOA MZ-3 and another KX, this one with a shutter problem.

What have you had repaired by Eric Hendrickson?

I got my black ME super back friday. He also did my chrome me super, and my sold MX. Always a job well done.

He did a CLA along with repairs on my S1a and he either received my beloved Spotmatic II on Saturday or will get it in the mail tomorrow.

A few Spotmatics. I'm contemplating sending him my K2 to see if he can make the ISO and EV compensation rings easier to operate.

This guy appears to be a real legend.....How can he do all this work?.....Does he do it on his own, or does he have others to assist?
What is the normal turnaround?

He worked for and retired from Honeywell. He has the authentic Pentax test sets for this equipment. He is the factory trained authentic real deal.

The story as related to me by Eric is that he worked for Honeywell/Pentax for 15 years, until they closed their Chicago office.
Eric then ran for many years his own repair business, Premier Camera Service in Glendale Heights, Illinois.
Since leaving the shop about ten years ago he has been doing repairs from his new home in Sharps Chapel, Tennessee.
In over 15 years dealing with Eric my experience has always been that his service is fast, accurate and inexpensive.

Eric does great work. Right now he has my LX. As soon as that gets back I'll ship him my K1000 SE. I also have a 50mm 1.2 that could use some attention.

In the past he has repaired my KX and my MZ-S.

As soon as that gets back I'll ship him my K1000 SE. I also have a 50mm 1.2 that could use some attention. In the past he has repaired my KX and my MZ-S.
