Anybody want some Kodachrome?

OK, before the massive stampede, I have two rolls of Professional Kodachrome and two rolls of regular Kodachrome that I'm not going to be able to shoot. I had stocked up with 10 rolls total last fall but due to caring for an elderly parent, I just am not going to have time to shoot it all before Dwayne's quits processing. What I will do is send the first four people who send me a PM a roll each if they will agree to send back the cost of shipping the film. I will send the Pro Kodachrome to anyone who wants it but I would like the regular to go to someone who's never had a chance to shoot any. Please reply to this as PM sent for Professional or PM sent for regular so everyone will know when the four rolls are gone. Oh yeah, North America only please.

I almost sent a PM, but then i started reading about quitting processing.. i was "wait.. isnt this E-6? ... taptap:wikipedia K-18 what the..?".
I always had some interest in this film, but now it seems that i will never have any chances to try it out.

Good luck to you out there, that can still make it on time.

PM sent for regular.

I've never shot any. Seems a shame if I never got the chance.

Got the film in the mailers and now just have to get it to the Post Office. Hopefully this afternoon or tomorrow.

CW

The rolls are in the mail. Hopefully they should be there Monday although I don't know about Nova Scotia. Of course the way the mail works in the U.S. that might get there first. LOL

Ooh, yeah. *vicarious glee.*

Don't forget the polarizer.

I turned away from the vivid-colors pretty early on, favoring a subtler Ektachrome 64P that was sadly changed just when I was getting attached, (At which point I went almost-all monochrome partly out of grief for the loss of a favorite palette) but the Kodachrome gives you 'bang' without ever overdoing it, I think.

And, yeah, Shooter, that was a really nice thing to do. I'd thought I said so earlier, but there've been Net outages here.

The camera should not matter as long as their meter is correct and they all will have a 64 ASA settings. I would recommend using a skylight filter if you have one.

Enjoy!!
