It is the brand of the 35mm lens that the seller has bundled with the camera. I have seen these used before. It is a junk brand.

Overpriced yes... but by how much? Assuming good condition:

50mm f/1.4 - $75
SPII - $50
35mm f/1.8 - ???

I know that 35mm f/2 Tak lenses go from $150-$250 so it's not SO over priced if the lens quality is any good. I know I wouldn't touch it for that price though....

I have given away a couple of enlargers there but never bought a camera or lens.
Most of the photo gear I see on my local craigslist is way overpriced.

Perhaps sellers think everything is collectible and they can charge original MSRP.
I suspect anything ever actually sold usually goes for a greatly reduced price.

There might be a bargain here and there, but I seldom waste my time looking...

The total kit value sold together assuming v. good condition is no more than $135 USD in my region. I sincerely doubt that the seller has a 35mm f/1.8. Formula 5 made a 135mm f/1.8 though. Here is an old thread discussing the Formula 5 lenses:

Apparently Formula 5 lenses were made by in Japan by a company called Mitake. They were also sold under the Spiratone name.
