Spotmatic battery "database".

There's been a few threads on this.....some use this, some use that etc etc.....so, I'd like Spotmatic users to detail WHAT THEY BATTERY THEY ACTUALLY USE....ie, brand, & model number.
The reason being, that from my research, it appears that some of the batteries that some say they are using, are not available any more....like the Energizer E387S, supposedly the "perfect" replacement, but not available in Aus any more....it's not on Energizer's product catalogue either!...So, a few might be sitting on shelves, but are they still being made?!
The battery in my SP11 is an Excell S400PX 1.5V which works well...no metering problems for me..probably less than half a stop away when compared with my Lunasfix F, but when I ordered a replacement from a retailer who showed this battery in its catalogue, the battery sold to me was an undomiciled (on the packet) silver oxide cell with "394X silver cell" stamped on the battery...it did have the correct plastic "collar" around it. I have asked the retailer, Master Instruments, why they didn't supply the listed Exell item.....I will advise when they come back to me!
So, what are you guys actually using?...Manufacturer & Model No please. I know later Spotmatics use different batteries, so best to state Spotmatic model too!
Cheers, Pickles.

Nice idea.

I've used Energizer E387S (similar to Silver Oxide #392) w/ good results in my Spoties. And that's the only one I could find around here.

Fair enough, but if you check with Energizer, I think you'll find that they don't make them any more...maybe a few around, but no new ones being made.
Cheers, Pickles.
