Thanks! Yes all of the bodies are in great condition and except for the K2 have been CLAed by Eric. (The K2 was CLAed by someone else)

They are all great cameras, so I also have a silver K series set: K1000, K1000SE, KM, KX & K2!

Phil.
Now that is just greedy...

A Brace of Black Pentax ME Supers

My two black Pentax ME Supers. The one on the left is fitted with a SMC-M 100mm f/2.8 lens with a Pentax 49mm polariser and an original hood. The one on the right is fitted with a SMC-M 50mm f/2 lens, the first lens I ever owned. It is also fitted with an original Pentax hard plastic screw on hood but that is a recent acquisition.

I love my Queenie. (Zebra SPII) but I must admit I still covet an all black SPII every time I see a pic of one. My Yashica FRI kind of makes up for the lack of one though. As far as I am concerned a good Yashica is the next best thing to a great Pentax. I have a Canon AE-1 too, but even though it's all black it just doesn't do for me what the SPII or my FRI do for me. I find it clumsy by comparison to either my Pentax or my Yashica cameras. It's a popular camera though, so I guess it's just me, shrug.

The lens list would have more effect on that price, however; there are at least a couple of very hot -and pricey- lenses in it:
Super-Takumar 3.5/28mm
Super-Multi-Coated takumar 1.9/85mm
SMC Takumar 1.8/55mm w/ caps.
Super-Takumar 1.4/50mm w/ caps & case.
Super-Takumar 4/150mm w/ caps & case

I've gotten a fondness for the black beauties myself. I'll take a pic of the ME Super in spotless black when it returns from Eric's careful hands.

These are all fine examples you have here ~ ; -)

It's a beauty for sure and a nice assortment of lenses. Is that 67 generation of the 55mm a recent addition?

My LX and M35/f2, shot on Superia 400 and converted to B&W. I'm anxiously awaiting this one's return from Eric at the moment

Steve

Thanks - I love them all

Of course I had to put my credit card out of its misery in the process...

Cheers,

Luc

I've had the 55 for a few years now, a wonderful lens. Not pictured is my recently acquired 45mm, another fine lens.

Time for a new family portrait.
