Just a quick thought, dead battery maybe?

Re: pop up flash, I think that's a common problem for MZ series. Some people just ignore since they prefer an external flash.

Hi
A friend of mine gives me a MZ 50 with the same problem. If you have a service manual or you know how to fix this, please tell me also.

Thanks
I will send the camera to the Pentax reprezentativ in Romania for a diagnostic. If the repair will cost a lot I will leave them for spare parts.

A guy said, MZ50=plastic fantastic he he

I hope to have luck and repair the camera.
