I have a FA 50mm f/1.4 so thinking might as well get a film body for the full frame experience on a typical nice day.

Check out the ZX-7/MZ-7 or ZX-L/MZ-L/MZ-6 bodies.
There are very similar in use to the Pentax DSLRs.
I would check out the reviews of those bodies in the camera review section.
Also check out the Z1-P/PZ-1P.
