Is something wrong with my K1000?

Alright, I started shooting film just recently. I have all the dark room equipment and have produced some pretty decent negatives and prints. However everything that's turned out was from my yashieca. My last roll I shot through my K1000, I had shot 6 shots in my yashieca, rolled it back up and ran it through my K1k. I developed the roll tonight and the pictures I took in the yashieca and then like 1 or 2 pictures I shot with the K1k showed up, the rest was totally clear but the markings along the side of the film were all good. I don't know what's going on, this is the second roll I've lost and I'm getting pretty frustrated.

Could you be more specific? I don't quite get how the problem manifests itself.

Assuming that you got he exposure right: Sounds the shutter ain't firing. How does it sound?

If it is a late plastic made in China version it is probably not worth repairing. If it is an older version you may want to contact Eric for a repair estimate.

Not to be captain obvious, but this has happened to me before-
Does film load the same way in both cameras? One time when my Spotmatic's self-timer was being wonky I had to use the school's Canon AE-1, and I loaded the film wrong. It advanced for a few frames, and then the sprockets tore. I tried again, and got two frames and then it slipped the take-up spool. The edge markings still developed and I had a few properly-exposed shots, and then.... Blank roll. Just like you're having.

Not sure if that's your problem, but it's worth checking the film loading/advance.

Sounds like a mechanical problem. The spool maybe slipping due to worn gears. Best to have it checked out.

How is the resistance of the rewind shaft? Eric posted a tip a few months ago about this issue. A small drop of lightweight oil is the cure.

Now that you mention it Steve, I had an issue with that. I'll look into that for sure.
