Mirror motors for M series still available?

Hello, members quick question, I was prepping my MZ 3 camera for shooting on the weekend when I realized the mirror motor gear went leaving me with a mirror lock up. After a call to my repair man he was not sure if updated parts are still available. Plus the fact repair costs more than the camera yada yada.
Does any one know if there is a Pentax repair facility(Canada) that may still may be able to supply and repair this model?
Thanks in advance
Ray

The replacement mirror motors with brass gear are available from uscamera.com in Colorado Springs and procamerarepair in San Diego.

Read the posts below in this forum, MZ-5N mirror lock-up. There are instructions on how to replace the motor.
